Nala is not only my granddaughter. She’s my child an it’s my duty, as a grandmother ,to care for her just as such.

She one of the two of my grandchildren. My youngest granddaughter name is London. It’s an enjoyment and pleasure to have them in my life.

Nala was born very early at 34 weeks. This was a very scary time for myself ,sleepless nights worrying about her health. She was very small and due to the coronavirus pandemic, I was unable to see her. Just a bunch of FaceTiming . No personal contact which was hard for me but .I made sure  on every FaceTime. She knew Grammy was on that phone. I favorite words to her were. “ HEY NALA YOU SEE GRAMMY “

It’s was very stressful for me as I Worrying about my daughter. Hoping that she was strong enough to deal with this situation of Nala being born so early.
I prayed day in and out for my daughter and my granddaughter.

Watching my daughter every day with sadness in her heart because her baby had to stay in the NICU was very stressful.

Nala was kept in the Nicu so long because she wouldn’t eat . Therefore, she had to be feed  via feeding tube .

It was no way Nala could go home without knowing how to feed from the bottle.

For a week straight the nurses would try to get Nala to drink her bottle ,she would not do it.

One evening  Unique and I was on FaceTime and she was expressing to me about how Nala  wouldn’t drink bottle for her or the nurses.

I  watch them all  try to get Nala to drink her  bottle nurse after nurse she kept turning the bottle away.

But God, being the God that he is, he took care of everything.

One evening I was FaceTiming with Unique and Nala . It was feeding time and Nala again just would not drink  her bottle . I looked into the camera and said Nala drink your bottle for Grammy . And guess what…

Nala moved her little head and eyes over to the phone, and started drink her bottle and never stop drinking it.  Within the next week Nala was home.

How great is our God 🙌🏽

As for my daughter Unique,
It’s such a blessing to see her mentally ,physically and financially able to  care of child on her own.  I thank God for that everyday. She has been equipped with the tools to raise, and nurture her child successfully.

I’m very pleased and proud she’s the mother that she is .
 Look at Gods work!!!!
